In June 2014, LUKOIL entered the deep draft at Etinde station, located on the shelf of Cameroon in Western Africa (accession deal ended in March 2015). An area of 460 km2 located in the waters of the Gulf of Guinea, Cameroon, 20 km from the coast, in the immediate vicinity of the border of Equatorial Guinea. The depth of the sea within the block ranges from 75 to 10 m.
Development block is implemented on the basis of production sharing agreement (PSA) signed in December 2008. In July 2014, a license to develop the Etinde Block for a period of 20 years.
